Ben

Ben is a multi-faceted music educator with close to 10 years of experience teaching guitar, voice, bass, keyboard, and songwriting. A graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Ben’s career spans classical training, touring the U.S. with School of Rock, and reaching the semi-finals of Australian Idol in 2023.

Ben’s lessons are inquiry-based and goal-driven. He helps students build real skills they can use—whether that’s preparing for AMEB or RockSchool exams, writing original songs, improving stage confidence, or working toward major performances. With professional experience composing for film, TV, and advertising, Ben is also great for students who want to develop an authentic creative voice (not just copy songs).
