Atticus

Atticus is a Brisbane-born trumpet player whose love of jazz began through specialist school music programs and his involvement with the Brisbane Jazz Club’s Talkin’ Jazz Big Band. At 16, he performed solo in the elite MOST master class under the mentorship of world-class trumpeter John Hoffman—an experience that cemented his long-term commitment to music.

After completing his Honours year at the Queensland Conservatorium in 2024, Atticus continues to perform widely and teach in both schools and private settings. His recent highlights include performing with jazz greats and accompanying Robbie Williams at the AACTA Awards (February 2025).

In lessons, Atticus helps students sound confident quickly—improving tone, range, articulation, reading, and musical feel—while keeping the process motivating and fun.
