Susie

Susie is a singer and teacher originally from Melbourne, now based in Brisbane. She teaches voice and beginner piano at the Academy. Susie completed a Bachelor of Music in Popular Voice at Monash University and previously gigged across Melbourne in pop covers duo Velvet Moon.

In Brisbane, Susie performs with the Resonance of Birralee choir and is excited to be performing with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra this year. She also enjoys busking at markets when she can. Susie specialises in contemporary vocals—pop, R&B, and soul—while also loving jazz. With training in the Estill Voice Model, she helps students develop safe, reliable technique, better control, and confident musicianship.

Susie’s lessons are supportive and practical: you’ll work on songs you love while building the fundamentals that make singing feel easier, freer, and more consistent.
