Careers

We seek additional music teachers to join our community of teachers from time to time. Some of our teachers are with us 1-2 days a week and some 5 days. It is up to you how many days you want to make yourself available. 

We typically teach to the QLD Schools Terms (4 x ten week blocks per year) but for those teachers that want to work during school holiday periods we will take on extra bookings if students wish to keep learning. 

Working at the Academy is highly rewarding as we see our students show progress and as their confidence in themselves soars. We put on as many performance opportunities throughout the year as possible so we we can all see the fruits of the student and teacher's labour.

Successful candidates who apply to the Academy should possess teaching qualifications in their chosen instrument, as well as experience with teaching adults and children and preparation for AMEB & Rockschool exams. 

Valid Blue Card also required.
