Elsie

Elsie began piano at age four and developed her love of clarinet in high school. She studied at National Dong Hwa University in Taiwan (major: clarinet; minor: piano), then moved to Australia in 2014 to complete a Master’s degree at the Sydney Conservatorium under Frank Celata (Associate Principal Clarinet, Sydney Symphony Orchestra).

Elsie has taught in school instrumental programs, private lessons, and accompaniment settings. Since 2014 she has helped many students achieve excellent results in AMEB exams. She is passionate about nurturing musicality, refining technique, and building confident performers and exam-ready musicians.

Elsie is also an active performer. She served as Principal Clarinet of the Australian Wind Symphony (2019–2023) and now performs in Brisbane with the Brisbane Symphony Orchestra and Queensland Wind Orchestra.
Best for: clarinet and piano students seeking high-level guidance, exam support, and strong ensemble skills.
